The Town of Westborough seeks applicants for the full-time (40 hours/week) position of
Outreach Case Manager at the Westborough Senior Center. Under the supervision of the Town’s
Senior and Social Services Director, this position serves as an advocate for older adults in the
community and is responsible for providing professional counsel, information, referrals and
follow-up to elders and their families on a variety of issues.
Qualifications: Master of Social Work (LICSW preferred); three to five years of progressively
responsible professional experience in human services, or equivalent combination of education
and experience. Position requires a valid driver’s license, and candidates must be available to
work some evenings and occasional weekend hours.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with the demonstrated ability to work
independently and to assess an individual’s service needs with care and empathy; must maintain
a high degree of confidentiality regarding information obtained from clients. Requires the ability
to engage with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds in a sensitive, respectful and
affirming manner and to foster collaboration with other Town Departments, community groups
and agencies to support the agency’s mission. This position is a mandated reporter.
Anticipated starting pay: $28.42 to $33.15 per hour based on demonstrated qualifications and
experience (maximum of range is $40.20/hour). Wages will increase 2.5% on July 1, 2025. This
