As CORD’s WRAP Coordinator, your primary focus will be on the Pre-employment Transition Services for Students (Pre-ETS), assisting students with disabilities (aged 14-21) in their transition to employment. These students, both those potentially eligible and those already eligible for vocational rehabilitation services, will benefit from the WRAP’s offerings in soft skills training, workplace exposure, and the core Pre-ETS services: work-based learning experiences, job exploration counseling, workplace readiness training, self-advocacy/peer mentoring, and post-secondary education counseling. This role is integral in forging connections, maintaining relationships with MRC’s VR counselors, enrolling students in suitable programs, conducting extensive outreach to schools and the community, and securing internship opportunities.
