MHC is seeking an energetic, creative, and experienced individual to join our team and fill this newly created role. The Assistant Director will develop and implement our internal and external communication strategies, shape marketing strategies, ensure effective coordination of messaging, support membership meetings and events, develop and support projects, and support member advocacy efforts.You will work closely with our Executive Director and our deeply engaged Board of Directors. A demonstrable history of working collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders is essential for success in this role. The position is ideal for a proactive individual who takes initiative, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and can juggle multiple details and projects. This role requires effective, timely and professional communication with the Executive Director, Board members, government agencies, and network partners. The ideal candidate will be professional, resourceful, organized, and collaborative with strong technology and communication skills, and have a passion for working on aging issues.

This full-time position offers a hybrid schedule, but will also require in person meetings throughout Massachusetts as needed.
