The purpose of this position is to prepare high quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and Town standards and to assist the Kitchen Manager (KM) in the daily operation of the Council on Aging Kitchen. Responsibilities include timely preparation of meals, organizing workstations, cleaning workspaces throughout the day and guiding and assisting kitchen volunteers as needed. Will serve as Kitchen Manager (KM)/alternate KM overseeing the safe preparation of meals in the absence of the KM. This position is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under their control; performs all other duties as required.
