Assistant Director for our Ombudsman program.
The Old Colony Planning Council (OCPC) – Area Agency on Aging is seeking a part-time (4.5 hour per week) Assistant Director for our Ombudsman program. The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is a federally mandated Older Americans Act Program that advocates for the wellbeing and rights of long-term care facility residents, including nursing homes, rest homes, and transitional care units. The Ombudsman investigates and works to resolve issues raised by residents or their families. The Assistant Director Ombudsman, within her or his allotted hours, will assist the Ombudsman Director by providing coverage to long term care residences and advocating for the rights of residents.
